Convent San Tanco has received a huge contribution from a mysterious benefactor named Juan Hernando-a far from uncommon monicker in Puerto Rico. Sr. Bertrille takes it upon herself to locate the elusive philanthropist. Meanwhile, a different Juan Hernando (Gino Conforti), this one a slightly larcenous politician, mistakenly believes that the convent has endorsed his candidacy.
