On this episode from April 14, 1959, guest star John Carradine joins Red Skelton in a "Sheriff Deadeye" sketch. The townsfolk are stunned when local bigwig Slim Jim (Carradine) appoints Deadeye (Red) as a federal marshal. It turns out that Jim is a rustler who intends to send Deadeye to Boot Hill along with all his predecessors. The supporting cast includes Vicki Raaf as Jenny, Marshall Reed as Ed, Dick Elliot as Joe, Michael Ross as Luke, Glenn Turnbull as Pete, and Dick Ryan as the Jailer. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
