This is an excellent family film! It is very uplifting and is a great way to remind ourselves that if we respond to rudeness with kindness, we can have a very positive effect.

This is a fanciful film that is a joy to watch. The acting is very believable from all persons and the scenery wonderful. As described by the narrator, this story is, however, unrealistic--even if it appears genuine. However, if you suspend reality, it is really a feel good movie. I remember thinking throughout the film, how wonderful it was that the children had adventures romping around the countryside and with the townspeople. I wonder what our children would be like without computer games, paintball, and IPods. Would they be happier?

This film is so nice with its simplicity. There is such a lazy-days atmosophere to it that I long to go back to. You can escape this hectic life for a couple hours and get lost in the goodness and purity of these childrens' thoughtfulness and kindnesses. I will actually encourage my kids to watch this because it teaches values.
