If you are into classics like Seven Samurai and have enjoyed viewing The Last Samurai, you will enjoy this movie. It has great scenery, costumes, and basic but effective and realistic fight scenes. The movie could have been shorter to suit my tastes but epics are supposed to be long, right?

If you enjoy Samurai Period movies this is a must see. The movie has a very good plot and great action scenes. The choreography is beautiful. The plot of a few warriors overcoming great obstacles to fulfill their obligation is a time tested winner. However, I must warn you, if you are a Horse lover I would avoid watching this movie. Toward the end of the movie the spiils and stunts the horses and actors perform are quite extreme.
