My home school kids like the middle ages but hated this movie. There was way too much repetitious footage of the actor playing Richard, the other actors were ''emo" in my kids words. Also the sets and props were so cheap my kids were laughing rather than learning. This was far beneath the quality of other productions like A&E, History Channel, BBC or Nova. They have seen a trend and anytime the "Kulture" logo appears at the beginning of a documentary, they know what to expect.
I agree with the other 2 reviewers. Amateur hour at its worst.. If you are interested in this period of history, check out the History Channel's Crusades: Cresent & the Cross. That's history worth watching.
