Igor & the Lunatics (1985)

Igor & the Lunatics (1985)
Member Rating:
Cheap, gory horror nonsense about a Charles Manson-like cult leader and his deranged, sex-mad, murderous followers who were captured and sent to prison, only to make probation 16 years later and launch a blood-drenched revenge spree. Igor and his flock set out to smite the townspeople who sent them up, the former members who betrayed them to the law, and just about anyone else who gets in their way. Shot over a period of several years (some characters are actually played by two different actors!), this shoestring slasher bore was rescued from well-deserved obscurity by Troma, Inc., who hugged it to their slimy bosom and re-packaged it in a special "Director's Cut," apparently in the hope that it would put a whole new generation of viewers to sleep. ~ Cavett Binion, Rovi

Not the worst from Troma but definitly not best ether. Some secnes are shown twice as time fillers (it only runs 79 minutes) and in the first act(?) is supposed to take place in the 60's even though there's 70's models cars cruzing around. I'd pass on it.-Stone

Well, what can you say? It's a B-film after all. There were some scenes that were played twice and the acting wasn't all that great. It wasn't the worst film I've seen, but I did find myself wondering when it was going to be over before I wondered how it was going to end.
