Although a bit slow in the beginning of the movie, it turns into a powerful and enlightened historical record piece for the rest of the movie. Alec Baldwin is superb - as usual - showing why he is one of America's greatest actors today. Brian Cox, as he played Hermann Goering, was absolutely fantastic in a deeply dark sort of way.

I really enjoyed this movie. Everyone one involved did an outstanding preformance. From the couple getting married in the ruins to The big name stars. It's heart wenching to watch at times and it leaves you thinking how can these people do this....seeing gold TEETH, human gold teeth in bank vaults, gold rings, earrings and watches. gold eye glasses. The things that were done to these people by groups of PEOPLE....and all they can say is "I followed orders" WHY would you follow these kinds of orders? Why would you be a part of this? This film didn't answer any questions for me, but I'm glad I seen this flim.....and I'm sorry for those 20 million people that lost their lives and thank those that fought and died to stop that madman and his followers and thank goodness for those that were lucky enough to escape. I'm so glad that those monsters were hunted down, convicted, hung, shot and jailed for their roles in this war.

I really enjoyed this miniseries! As a WWII (European Theatre) research enthusiast, I've watched quite a few documentaries and re-enactments of the Nuremberg trials. Of the all the re-enactments I've watched, this one by far is the best!
