Macross II: The Movie (1992)

Macross II: The Movie (1992)
Member Rating:
This six-episode OVA is considered to be set in a parallel world from the original Super Dimensional Fortress Macross series and takes place roughly 80 years after the events of that storyline. This parallel universe component is a result of the original creators of the "Macross" franchise not being involved with the project. In Macross II: The Movie -- Lovers Again, the conflict between humans and the Zentradi is a distant memory and peace has prevailed in the universe. The peace is broken, however, by a renegade faction of Zentradi who wish to bring more war to the galaxy. The story follows a reporter, Hibiki Kanzazi, who becomes entangled in the ensuing conflict by involving himself with a Zentradi princess. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi
