I was somewhat disappointed in the first quarter or so of the movie, as the gags were more of less borrowed from the television series and the timing was not done as well. However, once it's own plot developed, it was quite enjoyable. I'd sayt that if you are a fan of the series, you'll enjoy this movie. Then again, I saw the pilot for Grace and Favour at the end of the series and liked that as well, though apparently it did not hit it off as well as the original AYBS seroes, being as it only ran 12 episodes. (AYBS ran 65 epeisodes.)

Have watched the show for years but the movie was a disappointment. No laugh tracks or music, maybe that's why the script didn't seem funny. Just watch the repeats.

Not that great. But okay for me since no new shows are ever going to be aired.
