Synopsis of Gall Force 2: Destruction [Anime OVA]

An ace space pilot determined to save her people from extinction is forced to fly deep into enemy territory and disarm the doomsday machine that threatens to destroy humanity's final outpost in a sci fi anime space adventure created by Hideki Kakinuma and featuring the character design of Bubblegum Crisis mastermind Kenichi Sonoda. Her spaceship destroyed along with her entire home planet, Lufy thought she perished in the battle before awakening to discover that she has one last mission to fulfill. The planet destroyer that her enemies used on her home planet is en route to the final outpost, and if Lufy doesn't gather a new Gall Force and penetrate into the very heart of the alien menace before it reaches its intended destination, the only evidence that mankind ever existed will be a few chapters in the interstellar history books. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
