This is the poorest quality DVD that I have ever seen. Every scene is totally grainy and out of focus. The colors are sometimes faded and sometimes grotesque. The audio is very poor and the soundtrack has a tinny sound to it. I believe these are characteristics of every copy of this movie. I did not think it was possible to make Lesley Anne Down look that bad. This is a very weak presentation about an illegal immigrant from Germany who is a doctor. He earns money by performing some under the table operations. He has a love affair but is mostly thinks about destroying the Nazi who disfigured him and put him in a concentration camp years ago. There is one scene of the Eiffel Tower and another of the Arch Of Triumph. The rest of the film is spent in bars and hotel rooms drinking and smoking. I will not give away the endings for those who can actually watch this made for TV picture.

We fully agree with the previous review by Rascal789. Such a shame; it's a very good story and deserves a better "rendition".
