Synopsis of Red Green's We Can't Help It - We're Men
Handyman, outdoorsman, and all-around befuddled male Red Green (Steve Smith) takes a long look at how his gender functions (or fails in the attempt) in this collection of highlights and outtakes from the popular Canadian television series The Red Green Show. With the help of his geeky nephew Harold (Patrick McKenna), oft-puzzled naturalist Bill Smith (Rick Green), and the other members of the Possum Lodge (whose motto is "Quondo Omni Flunkus Moritati," or "When All Else Fails, Play Dead"), Red tackles the war between the sexes head on, with a perspective best summarized by his own statement: "Remember, we're all in the same boat -- and women are on the shore, laughing." ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
