Based on Linda's own recollections, this is a good film that could have been a bit better if they had focused a little more on Linda's role as a Beatle wife and her professional career as a performer in Wings. Instead, the best scenes take place during the Beatle years...played well by the principal actors, and almost make you feel like you are there. Gary Bakewell plays really well as Paul, and remarkably looks the part too. Athough the other actors really didn't look their respective parts, Tim Piper as John will definately have you doing a double-take throughout. I think John himself would have been impressed with his look and performance. I think the film's director took some liberties with the details of the events here, and the film is honestly overly mellow-dramatic at times, but all in all, a well-acted TV film about Linda's life and her battle with cancer that was sadly overlooked and dismissed....Beatle fans and particularly Paul fans may really enjoy it.
