I can't believe that I am the first to review this historical documentary and performance from 1986? If you are a classical music fan, flamenco fan, art lover, or just have been to Spain, your going to love this movie with Julian Bream playing the vihuela, lute, and classical guitars. He even hangs out with some flamencos, including the famous Paco Pena!! He plays and comments on the development of the guitar in Spain and Europe from the 12th century to present day. The movie starts out quietly with the famous Concero de Aranjuez in the background, with Julian Bream building speed and forte on the classical guitar. And then the goose bumps kick in when the orchestral strings begin the melody. The length of the film is very long and informative, ending with the complete Concerto de Aranjuez in the eighth chapter. Beautiful scenes from famous landsmarks and country side are shown with Bream and guitar.
