Movie still doesn't cover everything in the book, but was worth watching. The book is WONDERFUL, everyone should read it to appreciate the mentally challenged people in our world. It is written well, by giving us great insight as to how we view the mentally challenged and how we SHOULD view them.

There are some interesting questions here about what makes a person a human being and welcome member of society. When it becomes "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" when Charlie expands his intelligence, it's a telling fable.
