Damian Harris directs this sleazy erotic thriller about lipstick lesbians, naked corpses, and S&M covens, starring Julian Sands. Catherine Palmer (Ellen Barkin) is a hard-driving homicide cop who drinks like a fish and curses like a sailor, investigating a series of murders which leave the (inevitably female) victims bound, naked, and eyelid-less. Tall drink of water Vickie Kittrie (Peta Wilson), who was last seen with the latest victim, eventually admits involvement with a tribalistic S&M society. Palmer dutifully accompanies Kittrie on one such outing, featuring pouting models in designer corsets and lots of heavy breathing. When the serious girl-on-girl action kicks off though, Palmer makes a beeline for the door, only to be seduced by Kittrie against her kitchen sink (a la Fatal Attraction). Meanwhile, lead suspect psychologist Dr. Boussard (Sands) continues to snivel and cross-dress as the bodies start piling up. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

A very good plot with an erotic overtone. It has several twist about who done it which made it very interesting. Peta Wilsons' erotic role is played very well leaving one to believe that's who she is...good acting with some nudity. If you like mysteries you will like this and if you like Peta Wilson, "La Femme Nikita", you probally will enjoy this as well.

Erotic murder mystery that was sort of all over the place leaving you to wonder, why did I bother? Ellen Barkin plays the tough talking homicide cop who is torn between her duty as as a cop to solve the crime and submitting to her gay inner sexual desires with the real star of the movie, Peta Wilson who was hot. Julian Sands always plays a good weirdo, but was wasted in scripting to make the audience think he's the killer. It's a 1.5 star, but only because of it's off-beat eroticness, and that's about it.

It was ok but not that great movie unless you like to see a guy dress like a girl and girl have family problem.
