Intriguingly thoughtful and character-driven for what is ostensibly an action movie, Darkside Blues nonetheless suffers greatly from an attempt to cram too many characters and too much plot into less than 90 minutes. Watchable and never outright bad, but not exactly "good", either.

Nice art, however it is lacking in plot. Marginal movie, only my opinion.

yeah im going to have to agree with this other guy, DO NOT RENT THIS CRAP!!! if you ever rented BLOOD: the last vampire....pretty much just like that, absolutely no closure, and the best part of the whole movie is when you reach the credits. or at least the sneak peeks on the preview section. Or if youve ever seen KARAS: the prophecy...same thing, NO FRIGGIN CLOSURE! When it got close to the last 20 minutes or so....i kept thinkin to myself, "Is this going to pick up at all?" i mean seriously, it didnt pick up at all...it just kept going at its usual pace. it didnt explain anything, or any aspect.
