Member Rating:
Somehow the entire population of the Earth has been obliterated, leaving the buildings standing and the preserved food intact. The environment seems to be OK, too. From the emptiness of the planet emerges Alan (David Arnott), a nebbishy anthropology graduate student who is coming to terms with his fate as the last man on Earth -- until he discovers Sarah (Jeri Ryan), a beautiful, intelligent woman who can't stand the idea that neurotic, portly Alan is the last man she'll ever be near. They make an encampment in a desert and begin their lives together -- him, delirious; her reluctant -- until they encounter Raphael (Dan Montgomery) hitchhiking along the road. Raphael, although a bit dim, is tall, handsome and fun-loving, and Alan finds that he has to change in order to compete for Sarah's affection, or spend his life without a woman. But nature is full of surprises. ~ Buzz McClain, Rovi

This movie is a bad incarnation of the 1985 "A Quiet Earth". Same plot: all humans are dead except for a small trio who find each other and the 2 males fight for the last female ensues. Jeri Ryan's character was a superficial vixen afraid to be alone who agrees to be consort to the physically unappealling but intelligent Arnott. That is until a hotter male comes along and the pretty people choose each other to be with. All of this could be somewhat interesting if we actually cared about any of them and the pace wasn't slow and sleep inducing. Steer clear.

This movie was so boring. Watch Star Trek if you want to see Jeri Ryan's curves, you'll be horribly disappointed if you think you'll see anything in this. David Arnott is annoying and the story is pretty predictable. Don't waste your time.

One of the worst movies ever! This goes beyond C-flick. Just nonsensical! You'll be waiting for that one thing to happen that'll turn the whole movie around, but it never happens. UCK!
