I wasn't overly impressed with this movie. It's a personal story of exploring the Galapagos, and it doesn't go deeply into to any aspect -- either Charles Darwin, or the differences between the same species on different islands. The coolest part of the movie is when Carol Baldwin takes a little submarine down into the deeps. The part of the sub where she and the driver sit is a sphere of glass, and the sub has robotic parts. The recently aired Galapagos series on the National Geographic Channel is better (and also longer). I wondered if this movie was actually trying to avoid a discussion of evolution.

I thought it was very interesting with beautiful photography of both land & underwater. I would have liked more scenes of animals & birds since they are so unusual. It also seemed to be filmed on just one of the islands. I would like to have seen more of the others as well.
