Beware this is a childrens film. The cover is pictured is the Jan Svankmeyer creepy surrealistic art film that I have long sought. But this is a different movie. The provided information is contradictory and misleading. Ignore the picture and read the accurate text.

The picture shows the cover for the dvd "Alice" as in http://imdb.com/title/tt0095715/ They have the wrong cover picture. That film was made in 1988 and was fantastic; this one was made in 1999 and is garbage. The quality is what you would expect for a movie you buy at the dollar store. It's completely animated, and I could probably draw better. A 5 year old might like it, but you're better off renting the Disney version if you want quality.

These other reviewers are correct. At the present time, this movie entry is wrongfully using the cover for Jan Svankmajer's unique 1988 version of "Alice". If you are looking for Jan's version, go to the URL here on this page and replace 138764 with 300103 at the end of the URL, then hit Enter. That will take you to the page here at blockbuster containing the version you are seeking.
