Renee Jones guest stars in this episode as Lt. Aquiel Uhnari, junior officer of a suddenly dormant Starfleet relay station. On the basis of incredibly damning circumstantial evidence, Aquiel is accused of murdering her superior officer and is placed on trial. Her fate rests in the hands of Geordi LaForge, who has fallen in love with her. Originally telecast February 6, 1993, "Aquiel" was scripted by Brannon Braga and Ronald D.
