Find yourself the original VHS tape of Eddie Murphy Best of SNL. The VHS tape deserves a 5 star rating for sure. This is a hack of the original best of release. Several skits were removed and a few that were put in were worthless and not funny. Eddie Murphy is hilarious but this dvd sucks.

This is a must-see for any Eddie Murphy or SNL fan. I've seen it several times, but it still makes me laugh. Be sure to watch the outtakes and extra scenes as well, because those are just as hilarious as the rest. Murphy's impression of Stevie Wonder is spot-on and particularly hilarious. Deals with issues of racism without hemming and hawing around the topic, while still managing to keep the laughter going. The cultural power and significance of these sketches is, I think, underrated.
