This movie was unrealistic and very predictable. She had lost her hearing in a very short period of time and immediately can read lips. Totally dysfunctional and abusive husband. A stupid sister. Almost like a remake of several movies in one. Don't waste your time, even if you have time to spare.

I watched this because I am a Kiefer fan and thought he was going to play the abusive husband.....instead he was the cool, caring, professional cop with not alot to do........abusive relationships are difficult and not too much fun to watch...but you keep pulling for her ("Jimmy") and hoping for the best...Bridgette is good......husband is too..evil on evil...glad I watched

This movie was OK. A little confusing and certainly not convincing. She makes passionate love in the beginning of the movie to her husband, who turns out to be a cheating and abusive man. Weird. But overall, it was O.K..
