Wow, this is a great movie, the story is very accurate, very well interconnected, Ed Harris is inspiring in this movie, the character Abraham projects to the audience what unwaivering faith is all about.

I really liked this story about Abraham. God picks this one man and instructs him to move out of his home, away from his father, into a land God will give to him. Also with that promise God tells Abraham that he will be a father of many. But how can that be when his wife, Sarah, is barren? Of course God fulfills this promise, and others. The actors in this film are all top notch and they turn this important story into one that you can really relate to. The story is well paced and there are some smaller subplots in this film that aren't told in church all the time. This film shows Abraham as a man of God, but a man at the same time. This is also a very family friendly movie. Well worth the time.

A well told story. Excellent performances by both Richard Harris and Barbra Hershey.
