Good movie, bad transfer. It looks and sounds like it was transfered from a video tape. Not to mention the subtitles (which are in both Chinese and English and are also embedded on the screen.....no option to turn off/on) sometime run off on either side of the screen, so the sentences get cut off. Thankfully, the movie is dubbed. Sometimes it's hard to hear what they say, but you can get through it and still understand the movie and the gist of what's being said. The subtitles (that you can read) help a little, but don't really match what the dubbing says all the time, but that goes with any foreign film. There are scenes which are taken right out of "36th Chamber of Shaolin". Sometimes with little differences, but basically the same. It was entertaining and a good movie. Real nice fight scenes with a good story & actors/characters. If you like/love classic kung-fu flicks and/or "36th Chamber", you'll like/love this movie. I do wish it would get a proper dvd transfer though.
