Former Mr. Universe Ralph Moeller stars as a Viking warrior in this epic, multi-generational account of the lives of the Nordic avengers. The movie is completely made by Icelanders in a Iceland original scenario. The storybook is based on the real Viking Sagas from Iceland, no Holywood hype managers involved - the characters and the story are authentic. This is a an epos that is trustworthy and convincing. I have read a lot of fiction and nonfiction books about the mind and soul of Germanic tribes and the Vikings, this movie comes very close to their real life. I appreciate that the director did not use the corned or feathered helmets well know by the most of the shoddy Hollywood movies as requisites for the heros that is a historical rubish. All Viking fans must see this movie.

Hot topless chick in a tub, fights were a bit cheesy, but nice great background and wounderfully nasty weather throughout
