If you even FOUND this movie and this review, then you have to be a hard core aviation buff. If you're looking for a real movie, then this film is probably not for you. Filmed in defense contractor-military public relations style as a docu-film with music soundtrack, this very short and totally unnarrated film shows the entire line-up of the 1998 JSDF air force taking turns flying low-level missions along Japanese coastlines. The JSDF is a mixed bag of Russian, British and American aircraft and is interesting to watch, but again, purely for the aviation junkie. There are some inadvertent amusing moments as each aircraft is introduced in Jinglish (Japanese English) translations with English subtitles like "Neo-Attacker" and "The Last" that kind of leave you scratching your head. Hard core plane buffs only.
