It took a long time to get here, but Pink Floyd's "PULSE" was worth the wait. I have had the PULSE concert since 1995 (First on Laserdisc, then transfered to DVD). I thought that the new DVD release of PULSE would be just a slightly better clone of what I already had. I can assure you that is not the case... this new DVD release of PULSE is nothing short of the music video event of the decade. The quality of the restored concert footage is absolutely stunning (since, I understand that the concerts were all shot on tape rather than film). The new DVD quality makes my Laserdisc copy look like home video. The new release contains 4 hours of Pink Floyd, including the "PULSE" concert", "Dark Side of the Moon", Screen Films (those cool concert videos - by Hipgnosis?), Alternate song versions, tour stuff, cover art, and even some of the best concert bootleg videos I have seen. This DVD should be listed on all "Must Have" lists from now on. This DVD is worth a purchase.

It was the best concert I have ever been to! When they came to Kansas City, and played at Arrow Head stadium, I was amazed at what I saw. Now I get to show it to my friends who did not get to go. Now they know why I spent show much money on the receiver, subwoofer and the surrond sound system. It is just like you were there. My neighbors don't think so. So what. I will see you on the DARK SIDE OF THE MOON!
