Most adults will figure out the plot and ending of this movie by 20 minutes in. However, that doesn't change the fact that this is a pretty decent movie and not bad for the family either. I was a little surprised that a movie with a G rating would deal with puberty issues as overtly as this one did. I might have waited a year or two to rent this movie had I known that. Otherwise - there are lots of much worse movies out there.

This reminded me of the "after school specials" that I saw growing up. The description is WRONG. This movie is about a 13 year old girl who is coming of age. Her guardian angel helps since her mother has died and her dad has problems of his own.

I had no idea that a G movie would be dealing with puberty issues and in the first 20 minutes no less. I rented this for my kids to watch (they are 3 and 4) and love sports, we've watched the Air Bud movies and love them. I had to turn this off right away. I was misled by the description.
