Synopsis of Uj Gilgames

Uj Gilgames refers to a book of verses from Mesopotamia about the meaning of life and death. This Hungarian drama from Mihaly Szemes focuses on two people who have been diagnosed with cancer. Upon discovering his disease, David (Ivan Darvas) quits his work and ends a longtime relationship with his girlfriend. Soon he meets Eva (Edit Domjan), a fellow cancer patient whose husband has recently left her because of the illness.
