I have enjoied Inspector Morse over the years on PBS. This one was the typical detective yarn. I noticed something different in the camera work on this one. Interesting wide angle shots making you feel more IN the scene. I recommend all the Inspector Morse episodes.

Another good episode of this enjoyable British series with the late great John Thaw. This one is especially good and would have worked as a cross over episode with the series "Lovejoy" with Ian Mc Shane. Great to see Kenneth Cranham in this one and the story does have a good twist too. I always like the irascible and dogged Inspector Morse. He's a prickly type but he usually gets his man/woman in the end and these series were the off- shoot of the 'Inspector Lewis' series. If you haven't seen this BBC series yet -- make sure to catch it, you'll be glad that you did. My Grade for this episode and the series: A Marc L. Seattle. WA

Can't say I'd recommend this one just because the supporting actors didn't seem to be able to act very well, and unfortunately they were the Americans in the show. The British actors seemed to know their acting skills just fine.
