Synopsis of Breeders

Following in the tradition of his 1995 film Grim, in which England's Clearwell Caves doubled for Virginia, Paul Matthews' Breeders has England double for a Boston girls' school. The plot concerns a meteor that holds an alien monster (rendered in 3-D on the garish video box), a slinky alien woman (Kadamba Simmons), and a bunch of shattered crystals. The crystals end up as necklaces around the necks of several students, who get possessed and go to the sewers beneath the school where they are encased in cocoons so they can bear the monster's children. In a morally dubious development, the hero is a professor (Todd Jensen) who is sleeping with one of his students (Samantha Janus).
