This is a good thumb nail depiction of what the Lovings faced in their quest to have their marriage to each other in 1958 recognized as legal. The movie focused more on the love story and social aspect of their situation and less on the legal battle they waged. I would recommend this movie for any couple who love and marry across the race line. It is good to know just how recent the right to marry a person of another race was won. The movie is a good jumping off point to encourage people to delve deeper in to this issue.
