So you think to yourself, "Jack Black, funny. Luke Wilson, funny. Amy Locane, hot. Andy Dick, mostly annoying but funny occasionally. Jamie Kennedy, sometimes over the top but mostly funny. Brittney Murphy, cute and funny." All good thoughts, but apparently adding this all together doesn't make a good movie. Seriously not even a decent movie. Bizzare movie, yes. Look, this movie doesn't even really have funny moments. The best part of the movie is JB singing Jesus Ranch, which you've surely heard before if you're a fan (oh and Jack's only gets 5 minutes of screen time.) So you're watching and you're mostly bored and wondering to yourself "is this going somewhere?" and "is this almost over?" and then (hope I don't ruin it for you) the main character (Alicia Witt) gets raped. There goes your light-hearted pot comedy. This movie goes high on my list of severe disappointments (up there with Grilled, starring Kevin James and Ray Romano, which was equally boring and unfunny).

This movie obviously is not as good as Up in Smoke, Half Baked or even Grandmas Boy. That being said, it's still a fun watch. It was made for stoners, so if you don't smoke, you should probably consider getting something else. I toked up to it and thought it was pretty damn good. Andy Dick who is a real life stoner is in it, which gives it some sort of authenticity. I'd recommend it to stoners.

The cast in the movie was awesome! I love Luke Wilson in everything he does! Jack Black was so trippy! It had a little too much drama for my taste, but a must see stoner flick.
