There is a lot of issues with this movie, but there are many moments of brilliance. The Score is awesome, and the opening sequence is perfect. Beyond that, you get the occasional bright spots, including the car chase sequence, and an escape sequence later in the film.

Enzo G. Castellari mixes Peckinpah style camera movement with Scorsese style action. It's not the best Poliziotteschi (Italian cop thrillers) but it's definitely not the worst. Along with Franco Nero's brilliant performance and the stunning score by Guido De Angelis & Maurizio De Angelis makes it one of Castellaris best. Also definitely check out Enzo Castellari's High Crime (1973), Keoma (1976) & La Via Della Drogga (the Heroin Buster)(1977)
