Member Rating:
In this off-beat western, a gunfighter single-handedly takes on a band of ruthless bandits and prevents them from stealing a cache of government silver from a beleaguered little town. The gunslinger (Armand Assante) is not only remarkable for his quick draw and deadly aim, but also for the fact that a Civil War injury left him nearly blind. He carries with him the little baby he vowed to rear and protect after the war. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Renita L. I simply love this movie. I saw it when it first came out on HBO. I have viewed it over and over. In fact, I am going to purchase it! To sum up Armand Assante's performance in this movie in two words: platinum & gold!!!!!

I actually was in this movie. Filmed in Apache Junction Arizona. I had three lines and was all excited as it was going to be my entry into SAG. Sadly, they wound up on the cutting room floor. I must say, Adam Baldwin is one helluva chess player, he was undefeated on the set. Elisabeth Shue is a sweetheart beyond belief, Armand is awesome and Robert Davi is a big grumpy a-hole. So, the movie is silly but it was great fun shooting for three weeks. Take a look at my picture on www.copywritingtips.com and see if you can pick me out in the cast. :)

Bad plot. Bad dialog. Bad direction. Inconsistent accents.
