This movie has a different way of teaching people about the effects of our choices on our planet. That's the only good thing about this movie. It was not action packed but designed to make people think about how we are slowly killing ourselves. What I liked most about the movie is when the characters orbed around the planet (which they did most of the time), the earth man would ask "where are we?" each time and the alien would say "the same place" meaning earth...it's all connected. Beside that message there is the added view that we humans are stupid and think finite for what we are doing. Then the alien tries to teach the earthling to think about sex and relationships in a hippy-type galactic free will way, accepting everybody, don't judge kind of liberal thinking. There is a nudity scene in the beginning that I think could have been bypassed as well. Again, I think the environmental message is very important but could do without the rest. I'd rent it but would never buy it.

It you don't mind seeing 1 1/2 hours of two people talking about the planet and how we are destroying it because of our cars and polution, then this movie is for you. There is no explaining what is done to correct this problem, but apparently it is corrected, yet the opening scene shows a campfire.

Slow moving commentary on man destroying his world done from a science fiction media. That being said, the movie has some strengths: factual points about how we destroy our enviornment, great scenic views throughout the movie, and reasonable character study of the man and alien visitor as they develop a relationship. Nice concept but moves too slowly and hard to maintain an attention span. My overall rating would be 2 stars at best.
