In this martial arts-adventure, three warriors who are gifted with swords -- Smiling Sam (Andy Lau), Big Knife (Elvis Tsui), and Samurai (Brigitte Lin) -- are en route to Central China for a tournament where their skills are to be put to the test. A villain who has disguised himself as Smiling Sam has killed one of the children of the royal family, and now the famous sword fighter is a wanted man.
