Although many people make fun of this movie, it is actually very funny. It is a chance to see Howard Hessman in a major role!

For me, Doctor Detroit is a cult classic. Whenever I need a good laugh, this movie is just what the doctor ordered. In many ways, this movie could be considered a prequel to Trading Places released just a few months before it in 1983. It's one of those movies that you'll pretty much love or hate. If you love it, it'll be amongst your favorites for years to come.
