Prisoners in a Nazi concentration camp risk their lives by taking in a young Jewish boy rescued from a Polish ghetto. The camp commander hears about the boy and tightens up on the already cruelly treated prisoners. They whisk the boy away from being discovered, always staying one step ahead of the Nazi guards and the livid commandant. The boy is eventually discovered and both he and the prisoners now face certain death. Only the Allied invasion and subsequent tank patrols can save the prisoners and their young friend from doom. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi

A trying but uplifting and touching story of the last days of Buchenwald and the attempts of prisoners to hide a Jewish child from the Nazi guards. This is a thoughtful look at the historic and logical consequences of what happens when people relinquish their civil and human rights to a godless State,
Watching it in German made it all the more real. Prisoners in Buchenwald trying to hide a Jewish boy from the Nazi guards and doing it well until the end when the Americans were approaching. Very well done.
