Wasn't as scary as the first one, however still a great scary/thriller movie! I loved how they pulled the two movies together so well and picked up right where they left off. It was like the two movies had been written as one.
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) is actually a good horror thriller. I have to say that I really liked it. The whole plot and development of this sequel to Insidious is very clever, ingenious, and witty in the sense that it takes the viewer to the origin/history of how the whole terror of the supernatural among the Lambert family had originated from. This particular horror thriller had some very clever, witty, scary, and comical moments throughout from beginning to end. This particular horror movie is original and ingenious and takes me back to the vintage horror classics of the 1980s. Insidious is one of those very few, modern horror movies that pertains to the vintage horror classics of the 1980s. Congrats to both the director and screenwriter of Insidious 1 & 2!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this horror movie to all viewers of an age-appropriate audience.
