A novelist (Pierce Brosnan) grieving over the loss of his wife travels to a lakeside home where he's haunted by a ghost and befriends a widow and her daughter, in a two-part adaptation of Stephen King's best seller. ~ Bill Ecklund, Rovi
I thought it started off a little slow, but as it went, I realized that the story needed a little time to build, which it did. Also, it was what I call a "need to pay attention" movie, meaning to make sense at the end, when all is revealed, paying attention DURING the movie is important. Some good scary parts, and, as always, a good Stephen King story, well told from book to screen.
