A team of talented illusionists called "The Four Horsemen" (played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco) are investigated by a resolute FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) following a series of brazen heists that leave their audiences swimming in cash while draining the bulging bank accounts of unscrupulous business leaders. Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Mélanie Laurent co-star in this sleight-of-hand thriller directed by Clash of the Titans' Louis Leterrier. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Liked it. I'd like to rent it someday from here yet in my que of 68 DVD's on my 3 out at a time unlimited CONTRACT terms are violated and nothing is ever sent out as Dish can not meet current obligations yet keeps adding members. Canceling soon so not concerned about this review not being liked. This review is just as good as someone saying "It was pretty good."
Now You See Me is a fantastic movie. At first, I thought it might be another Oceans 11 movie, but it is far from this. This movie keeps you on your toes and guessing. It is fun and brilliantly written. Props go to Woody Harrelson, whose performance is superb. All the cast is great, though and you won't be disappointed with this movie.
The cast was great, but gee whiz, everything jumped around constantly. It was all happening so fast that there was no time to process what just happened before moving on to the next thing. By the end, the number of things they are pulling off have become completely unbelievable. The ultimate mastermind behind the whole thing? Again, awfully unbelievable, but commenting on it would give away a huge spoiler so I won't. I'll just say I was excited to see it from the first trailer viewing, and I'm glad I did watch it, but I was a bit disappointed with how it all turned out.
