A small farming village falls under a terrible curse after a desperate couple sacrifices their malformed child in a ritual meant to bring the community a bounty of crops. The year is 1831. As Halloween approaches, the citizens of Hollow Glen cast their disease crops into a massive fire in hopes that their fields will be blessed and fertile during the coming year. The annual ritual is tainted, however, when the parents of an ailing, disfigured child cast the boy into the ceremonial blaze. The grotesque creature born of that unconscionable act becomes the bane of the community for years to come, never resting as his hunger for vengeance grows more intense with each passing day. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
I watched this movie the other day, and you know..it wasnt all that bad. I mean yes the goblin looked pretty sci-fi like, but its a low budget movie, and the acting was not bad at all. A little cheesy but I have seen worse movies.
The sci fi channel, as another said is how this movies comes across. The cast/actors aren't bad but the plot is average run of the mill,no suspense or excitement, and unbelievable. Not the worst fx but still unimpressive,eg a black cloak is flying around (yes in the sky) part of the monsters outfit, and the obvious photo shop look is evident,as it resembles a swept wing jet. Would NOT suggest unless there's absolutly nothing else to RENT.
