Filmed over the course of two years, this documentary from National Geographic takes a look at the landscape of the American Great Plains, once an epic grassland explored by Lewis and Clark, now an ecosystem in danger, and the subject of a grand conservation project. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi
Really great movie, with a wealth of information about the American Buffaloes and the reality of survival in the wild. The Bonus supplement at the end, regarding the Thunderbeasts in Yellowstone Park is extraordinary, don't forget to see it.
The common expectation of seeing a movie is that it will bling us. This movie is for those who can wait for that bling. We are rewarded with knowledge and a history of an important part of our country through this well done movie. Bravo to the National Geographic.
