This installment in the Friars' Club style series of celebrity roasts produced by network Comedy Central recruits comics from every background and style to put former Full House star and notoriously foul mouthed stand-up comedian Bob Saget in the hot seat. Hosted by Saget's former co-star John Stamos, the roast features no-holds-barred burns and verbal takedowns from such names as Sarah Silverman, Jon Lovitz, Norm MacDonald, and many more. ~ Cammila Collar, Rovi

Comedy Central always has fun with their annual roasts. This edition with Bob Saget is very funny, but a slight step down from the usual high quality. Comedy Central had put together quite an impressive group of roasters for past event involving Denis Leary, Pam Andersen, and Flava Flav. The split between Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman seemed to be hanging over this event, they were not in attendance. The level of comedy just wasn't as good. There were literally roasters that I have never heard of before. Then they trot out Norm Mcdonald and John Lovitz? Are you kidding me. They haven't been on TV is a decade - plus their sets sucked. Cloris Leachman was very good, but she's no queen of mean. Jeff Ross and Greg Giraldo tried to save the evening, but they were in a room full of rookies. There is alot of ground to cover to mock Bob Saget, yet most of the comics just focused on lame gay jokes. That's just lazy comedy. They can do better than that.
