Since this was directed by the same person who directed Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan I rented this with good expectations but meh, this wasn't funny. It was certainly weird like Dokuro Chan but it just wasn't funny to me. At some points I even got slightly bored watching this.
Don't get me wrong though. This isn't terrible but it certainly isn't as funny as Dokuro-Chan is. The one thing I do like about this anime though is Punie-Chan herself and to a lesser extent her sidekick Paya-Tan. I like how Punie is a smiling, perky, carefree girl one minute; but then when she gets serious, in an instant her voice gets deeper and she becomes like freakin Revy from Black Lagoon. And even when Punie is all nice and innocent she's still kind of mean.
My recommendation: If you liked Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan then check this out but just don't have your expectations high like I did. This anime is weird, interesting, and amusing but not fun and crazy like Dokuro-Chan is.
