Very well acted and a great story, but sometimes it's very slow moving. Well photographed. I am glad I saw it, but it's not a movie I would watch again.

Quirky to say the least....you need patience, but the main character is an endearing soul. Not sure about his taste in women, however. Somebody was high when this script was written.

A wry meditation on aging. Horten is handsome in his fine motorman's leather jacket and cap, and his posture is erect and confident. But throughout the film his dignity is in jeapordy, an exigency that's quite familiar to senior citizens. The ending is sweet, which this reviewer, a pensioner, finds satisfying.
