Not your conventional Sci-fi flix. What starts out as a twisted alien story, turns into a land of no rules or lodgic. There's a dwarf clown, an alive, life size G.I. Joe toy out to kill, and a black panther(?). Plus the anoying score was garbage. For bad movie lovers only.-Stone

I enjoyed this movie. Nice creepiness, good gore and some head-tilting/questionable scenes. Reminds me of The Beast Within on a certain level. Check it out.

Xtro, I believe, can be classified as a cult classic assuming that you use the word "classic" very loosely. The movie has an alien rape scene that is still shocking to this day. The special effects are crude, but effective. Aside from that, the movie is quite bad. Xtro develops schizophrenically: The plot is disjointed and the movie features an assortment of creatures ranging from a clown to a murderous G.I. Joe figure to a tiger. In the special features section, the director actually admits that he and his crew were making the movie up as they went along. It shows.
