MI-5 is a very well done action series. The storyline is exciting, fun and easy to follow. The acting is up to par. The screenplay is well done. MI-5 is certainly a hit. Unfortunately, Blockbuster only carries 2 of the 3 discs in the set. I have contacted them regarding their not having a complete set but, they won't do anything about it. I have experienced this same issue with Blockbuster regarding several other series sets. This demonstrates poor customer service by Blockbuster!

I watched several episodes on BBC America, and liked the slickness of the filming and characters. Very well worth the watch!

This is the only series I have started at Season 1, and watched (as time allowed over a few months) right through to Season 8. This series takes the viewer places where America is too soft and squeamish to go; and British Intelligence officers of the MI-5 ("Spooks") unit make James Bond look like a Boy Scout by comparison! The start of this series is not easy and if you read the reviews for Season 1, you'll see that many got off the train before the adventure even began. Don't get too attached to your favorite officers that in America would traditionally be spared; to paraphrase an old saying, "nobody gets off this planet alive" and few leave the British Intelligence service with a pulse. It deserves motion picture industry awards for acting, directing, settings, and every other category. I predict this series will become legendary in the western world as symbolic of the government's struggle against the political forces of good and evil.
